Who has it: DayZ

Soo guys
Who here has the wonderful game of DayZ(mod or standalone)?

I recently bought the standalone for $35 AUD
At the moment there isn't really much in the game that I can see.. Although I never get far... There are always two zombies (always these two female ones with the same skins) that are always after me...

Oh I once found a gun... I thought it had bullets in it so uhh I may or may not have started a little war with a herd of zombies...
Was kind of awkward finding out I had no bullets... n-n

I think I will go back to watching FRANKIE playing DayZ until the devs patch up the game a bit or something.

Seems like it'll be great but:
My controls don't save, if I open up the menu to change them again they reset
Laggy-as-fuck controls
Y-Axis is extremely high no matter what
X-Axis is extremely low no matter what

Yeah Frankie and Jack sure make it look awesome but when you are the one in control.. You realise just how tricky it actually is..
The controls sure are something to get used to though, it's nothing like Battlefield which kind of sucks IMO... They are the controls I know

im pretty sure you don't just get used to laggy controls and horrible sensitivity though

That would depend on whether or not you only play DayZ I suppose.
I know I will never really get used to the controls as long as I keep playing all the other games that I do (Mainly being BF4, BL:R, Minecraft)
But I'm sure that if I played nothing but DayZ the controls would be pretty straight forward after a while.
