Banned: TheMGRF and Dlavery

For using the Xray texture pack in Legitworld.

After inviting them both into my base, I couldn't help but notice the very next day, several tunnels in base that had been dug seemingly at random with open pockets at the end. This was obviously evidence of someone using the xray texture pack. Legendpla helped me use the logblock tool to find out who dug them out. I wasn't going to ban them, just give them a slap on the wrist and kick them out of my base, but TheMGRF warped into my base when Cicco and I entered the nether. I know this because I always have the new 3D map up under Minecraft while I play. I warped back to see what he was doing and saw his name in the base above me, but he warped away and then lied about warping into the base when I asked him.

I am tired of of players like this getting away with cheating and lying because they have friends on the server who don't want them banned. I couldn't even confront them about their cheating without having players run to their defense for no other reason than that they know them in real life. I think it's time they find a new server to play on.

I invited MGRF into the base, and later he asked if Dlavery could hang out. Lots of people are allowed in my base, about half of them actually used it, and a few of them actually assist me in building the obsidian tower. It was just happenstance that I noted their activity. It is my base after all, I know when I see something unusual.

Dlavery is known to have an xray pack, but both of them showed up in the log when I investigated. That means TheMGRF is just as guilty as Dlavery is. I didn't ban them at first even though I was within my right. I simply moved their things out, and told them I don't allow cheaters in my base. TheMGRF's subsequent behavior led to his ban, and having several of the IPs he uses banned, as he continued to log in. He is probably still getting on the server somehow, but I have no way to stop it.

Note that he has not made an attempt to appeal this himself. He just keeps getting on the server and claiming innocence. Accessing the server after a ban has to be reproachable, am I correct in that assumption?

Yes, totally. I'm really tired of seeing dlavery's name appear in the ban list.

Okay I just went to one of my larger builds that TheMGRF helped me with a bit and a load of wood is missing where he was obviously rolled back and a lot of the materials that he used were mine that I gave him to help with the build so rocky would it be okay if I spawned some of it back as im down on items now and have holes in my arena.
